The Radiotehnika S30 upcycling project was a quick bit of nostalgia. 

Propped on thin legs, they are meant to look like they float in free space when viewed from the front. 

 

The internals of the speakers are kept original, while the exterior has been overlaid with natural oak plywood to bring the aesthetic into the 21st Century. They have found their home in a newly renovated countryside cottage.
